One example of this is the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony for AYKA ParX’s custom-built logistics center for Zeppelin Baumaschinen in Cologne.

Groundbreaking ceremonies, topping-out ceremonies, grand openings, and anniversaries are special moments in a company’s development. They offer the opportunity to celebrate important milestones together with project partners, customers, political figures, the media, and other stakeholders, while simultaneously highlighting the company’s own role and achievements.

AYKA ParX, part of AYKA Solution Holding, develops business and logistics parks, identifies potential locations, and creates well-designed and environmentally conscious real estate projects. AYKA ParX is developing a custom-built logistics center in Cologne for Zeppelin Baumaschinen. In the future, this facility will serve as the hub for planning and procuring replacement parts for Caterpillar construction equipment, as well as for their storage and distribution to the German branches and service stations of the various business divisions.

The groundbreaking ceremony provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate this project milestone together with the partners and to present the project to a select group of guests.

For the event on October 10, 2025, teamtosse developed a program that combined the celebratory occasion with a presentation of the project and opportunities for personal interaction. Invited guests included representatives from AYKA ParX and Zeppelin Baumaschinen, as well as the City of Cologne, the Cologne Economic Development Agency, the general contractor Köster Bau, and other project stakeholders. 

Short speeches provided insights into the project and its development. The focus was on the symbolic laying of the cornerstone, followed by a joint tour of the construction site that offered further insights into the logistics center under construction. For the personal networking session that followed, teamtosse organized a lunch together. Photographic coverage documented the special occasion while also providing visual material for future corporate communications.

The Logix Award, organized by the Logistics Real Estate Initiative (Logix), which teamtosse has supported organizationally and communicatively since it was first given out in 2013, demonstrates how this works in practice.

To strengthen the image and acceptance of logistics real estate, the Logistics Real Estate Initiative (Logix) has been honoring outstanding logistics real estate developments in Germany every two years since 2013. The focus is on projects that particularly meet the needs of municipalities, users, and investors while also taking urban planning, environmental, and social aspects into account.

teamtosse has provided organizational and communications support for the Logix Award from the very beginning and, together with the initiative, is responsible for the entire process – from the application phase to the awards ceremony.

Its responsibilities include helping to assemble an independent jury of experts, as well as the ongoing development and organization of the selection process. For the 2025 Logix Award, the application process was structured in three stages for the first time. A shortlist was first compiled based on a defined set of criteria. The ten-member expert jury then selected the finalists from this shortlist during an online session. The finalists were subsequently given the opportunity to present their projects to the jury in a pitch.

With 27 projects submitted, the 2025 Logix Award set a new record for entries, underscoring its growing importance in the industry. Since it was first presented in 2013, the Logix Award has evolved into a recognized and established accolade for outstanding projects. The communications support provided by teamtosse ensures visibility for the award and its projects throughout the entire process, culminating in the awards ceremony at Expo Real.

The 2025 awards ceremony took place on October 6 as part of Expo Real in Munich. The award went to the Levi Strauss & Co. European Distribution Center, developed by Delta Development in Dorsten. The winning project stood out in particular for its holistic approach to sustainability. The approximately 73,000 m² LEED Platinum-certified logistics facility was developed according to the Cradle to Cradle philosophy and completed in October 2023. Among other features, it incorporates reused building materials, geothermal energy, and a 3.45 MWp photovoltaic system with 1 MW of battery storage. Social sustainability was also addressed through workspaces designed to meet WELL Platinum standards.

With the Logix Award, teamtosse, in collaboration with the initiative, is creating a platform that highlights innovative logistics properties and demonstrates how modern requirements for logistics developments can be implemented.
